Sharapova's Largest Athlete-Income Women

For the seventh consecutive time, the Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova established him as the highest-income professional women athletes in the world with 25 million U.S. dollars

Sharapova more income derived from outside tennis. Understandably, the 24-year career athlete in the world of tennis was slightly decreased lately. Although successfully stepped into the Wimbledon final in 2011, but the last Grand Slam title that Sharapova won the Australian Open in 2008.

In the list of richest female athlete who issued Forbes, Sharapova beat Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki tennis player who have the income 12.5 million USD. Then there IndyCar and NASCAR racers from the United States, Danica Patrick, who earn 12 million USD.

After that there are two former world number one, Venus Williams and Kim Clijsters. Venus has an income of 11.5 million U.S. dollars, while Clijsters of 11 million U.S. dollars.

Seven out of ten female athletes with the highest income derived from the world of tennis, including the French Open champion Li Na from China who is ranked eighth. Two other athletes who are not from tennis is ice skating athletes from South Korea, Kim Yu-Na, and U.S. golfers, Paula Creamer.
